Green-blue, turquoise too, the fascinating colours of nature’s cools. I imagine a hot summer’s day walking on the beach. The sand heats up the bottom of my feet so I jump into the turquoise sea and duck my head underwater to cool down.
Underwater, there is transparency and light reflects off the surface. The refractions of colour swirl around the sand and against the water’s surface. This is what being inside the colour turquoise feels like. So cool and liquid and flowing.

The sun is an integral part of the sea’s vibrant colours.
As yellow and blue make green and green and blue make turquoise, the sunlight powers my inspiration. Sunlight and paint make art come to life in lines, circles and brushstrokes on the canvas.
Turquoise Story II
EUR 300
The colour turquoise can veer towards blue and then back to green in a subtle movement that reveals its origins in two of the primary colours. The dance between blue and yellow create so many new colours to express on canvas. The brush dances this way and you see blue, it sweeps the other way and you see yellow.
Turquoise Story III
EUR 350
I’m fascinated by the interplay between turquoise, blue and yellow and with watching the shapes appear beneath my brush. Like the light reflects off liquid surfaces, my paint is shiny with refracting highlights

Underwater, the shades of turquoise scintillate and shimmer. It’s not the end of the Turquoise Stories, when you and I can revisit a day on the beach any time with my paintings.
